Charlotte Pass Snow Resort is Australia’s Highest Resort and the only resort in Australia to be completely snowbound in winter. We offer a truly unique snow experience with no cars, no crowds and no long lift queues – guaranteed! Come experience winter with us in the heart of the Kosciuszko National Park.
Skiing in Australia was born in Kiandra in the 1860’s and by 1930 a 38-bed Chalet was built at Charlotte Pass.
It was enlarged in 1933, but burnt down eight years later. The current Kosciuszko Chalet Hotel was built on the same site in 1939.
To this day, the Chalet remains the heart of Charlotte Pass Snow Resort. Charlotte Pass has expanded significantly over the years, with the introduction of several independently owned hotels and lodges, and installation of T-Bars, Pomas and the Kosciuszko Triple Chair.
The expansion will continue as Guthries High Speed Poma will be replaced with the Guthries Double Chair.
